Material to encourage those with little English to practise their English. There is material for three levels of reading ability:
Those with little or no English can practise saying English words using pictures.
Sheets of pictures will be downloadable from a new site being created for Sis. Fiona Lund who has prepared these sheets. The site will be available later on this year, God willing.
Those with slightly more English can practise the Books of the Bible in English. English speakers can practise saying the names in Farsi. Sheets containing all the Bile book names can be downloaded below. After downloading users can then cut them up and laminate them if they wish.
Those with more English can practise reading a Bible verse. English speakers can also practise saying the verse reference in Farsi. The verses are numbered starting at Genesis 1 v 1 and subsequent verses are taken in order from chapters in the Bible Companion daily readings. Sheets containing the first 24 verses can be downloaded below. More will be added later. After downloading users can then sheets can then double side print them and laminate them if required.
