A selection of verses to show that God doesn't expect blind faith.
God tells the prophet Isaiah that the Jews are his witnesses or evidence that he is the only true God:
10 “You are my witnesses,” says the LORD,
“With my servant whom I have chosen;
that you may know and believe me,
and understand that I am he.
Before me there was no God formed,
neither will there be after me.
The psalmist encourages us to look at what God has done in the past:
11 I will remember the LORD’s deeds;
for I will remember your wonders of old.
12 I will also meditate on all your work,
and consider your doings.
Have a look at the Accurate predictions section of The Evidences website to see what God has done in the past in relation to the Jews and other modern nations.
The miracles that Jesus Christ does convince some at the time that he is from God:
1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 The same came to him by night, and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him.”
31 But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said, “When the Christ comes, he won’t do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?”
16 Some therefore of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” There was division amongst them.
