Everything is made as a result of God's word:
6 By the LORD’s word, the heavens were made:
all their army by the breath of his mouth.
God communicates using his word:
1 After these things the LORD’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
We learn the good news of God's message by his unchangeable word:
25 but the Lord’s word endures forever.”
This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.
Things happen as a result of God's word:
1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the LORD’s word by Jeremiah’s mouth might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
God communicates his message to the prophets by his word:
1 The LORD’s word which came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations.
Disobedience to God's word can have dire consequences:
26 When the prophet who brought him back from the way heard of it, he said, “It is the man of God who was disobedient to the LORD’s mouth. Therefore the LORD has delivered him to the lion, which has mauled him and slain him, according to the LORD’s word, which he spoke to him.”
Mary the mother of Jesus submits to God's word from the angel:
38 Mary said, “Behold, the servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.”
The angel departed from her.
