A selection of verses showing what the Bible tells us about our judgement:
The apostle Paul makes it clear that there will be a judgement:
10 For we must all be revealed before the judgement seat of Christ that each one may receive the things in the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
The apostle John tells us that if we confess our sins we will be forgiven:
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
This means that we can be blameless at that time if all of our sins have been confessed and forgiven:
8 who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The apostle Paul tells us that we will not be condemned if we are in Christ Jesus:
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Jesus Christ tells us that how we are judged by him will be influenced by how we have judged others:
37 Don’t judge,
and you won’t be judged.
Don’t condemn,
and you won’t be condemned.
Set free,
and you will be set free.
2 For with whatever judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.
13 For judgement is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement.
